About The Artist

Oliver Parson’s prolific career as an artist began on the Kansas prairie circa 1926. He moved with his family to Utah in 1932 and has had an undying facination with mountains ever since. For almost 80 years, Oliver’s art has documented an intregal part of the American rural experience.

Art and Painting became a family activiity. Three of his nine children, Delwin, Leon and Nolan are professional painters. He currently resides in Salem, Idaho with his oldest daughter.
